Jeannie Ray from the NTEU has a casual talk

You would think in a country like Australia where we value education and those who are educated that fair pay wouldn’t be too much to ask for.

Unfortunately, those who teach at our universities are often exploited, with too many workers employed on a casual basis.

We were joined by Jeannie Ray from the National Tertiary Education Union to explain to us what this means for both staff and students.
