Public School teachers in New South Wales are continuing their campaign despite the The Education Minister, Adrian Piccoli, calling on their upper house to pass a law that would allow the union to be hit with fines of $220,000 for further industrial action.
Teachers are running an industrial and community campaign against the NSW government’s reforms of the education system – based around the so-called Local Schools, Local Decisions reforms.
To tell us more about the campaign we were joined on the line by NSW Teachers Federation President, Maurie Mulheron.
