Truckies give blood to honour those killed in road crashes

Today seven-hundred delegates from the Transport Workers Union gave blood in honour of road victims – some 330 die each year from the pressure to meet unrealistic deadlines. Large supermarket chains have been accused of driving down transport costs, forcing the transport industry to cut corners on safety.

Your Rights at Night spoke with Richard Olsen,  Assistant Secretary of the Transport Workers Union NSW Branch about the campaign
